Switching from another provider is simple. Book your plan (or the $149 consultation if you're not sure which one) and upload your current prescription and labs from the last 90 days. If your labs are recent and complete, you won't need new baseline labs: we review your records, continue your current dose when it's appropriate, and your plan's lab schedule starts from there.
No recent labs? We'll order a transfer panel at cost. If we change your dose, you'll get a 6-week recheck, included.

GLP-1 medication isn't right for everyone. Pregnancy, a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN2, and some other conditions rule it out. We review this at your consultation. Baseline labs are about $25 at a Labcorp location, billed at cost: kidney and liver panel, blood count and cholesterol. If GLP-1 medication isn't right for you, you're charged a $99 consultation fee and the rest of your payment is refunded.

Membership FAQ
Will I actually meet my clinician?
Yes. Every new patient has a live video visit with a board-certified provider before any treatment is prescribed. Many online programs approve treatment from an online form alone. We don't.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
Yes. You can pay with your HSA or FSA card. Consultations, labs and prescription treatment are generally qualified medical expenses, and we can provide itemized receipts. Your plan administrator makes the final call on eligibility, so check with them if you're unsure.
Do you take insurance?
No. Vida Avanti is cash-pay, and memberships aren't insurance. Plans don't cover emergency care, hospital care, or services from other providers.
Are monthly check-ins video visits?
Monthly check-ins are part of the Longevity membership. They're short online forms in your patient portal that your provider reviews, not video visits. Video visits are scheduled according to your plan. Extra video visits are available for $99.
Does joining guarantee a prescription?
No. Treatment is prescribed only when it's medically appropriate based on your evaluation and labs. If treatment isn't right for you, we'll explain why and talk through other options.
When are labs rechecked?
Six weeks after you start, and after any dose change, we recheck your hormone levels to make sure your dose is right. After that, labs are every 6 months. These labs are included in your membership. Any additional labs outside this schedule, whether you request them or they're needed for a new concern, are billed separately at cost.
I'm already on HRT or TRT. Do I start over?
No. Upload your current prescription and labs from the last 90 days. If they're recent and complete, we skip new baseline labs and continue your dose when it's appropriate. If we change your dose, your 6-week recheck is included.
Can I cancel?
Women's plans can be canceled anytime before your next billing date. Men's plans have a 3-month minimum because it takes time to adjust dosing safely.
What if I need to cancel or miss a visit?
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your visit. Late cancellations and missed visits count as a used visit and carry a $50 fee. New patients pay their first month when booking (or the $149 consultation if they aren't sure which plan fits), and visits outside your plan are paid in full at booking.
How fast are messages answered?
Within 2 business days, or 1 business day on Optimize plans. Messaging isn't for urgent problems. For emergencies, call 911.
